anchovy poppers

Note: best if prepared the day before, and baked just before serving.

- 1/2 c butter-room temp
- 1 3-oz pkg cream cheese-room temp
- 1 c flour-sifted
- 1 tube anchovy paste [2-oz]

1. mix first 3 ingredients together well and chill.
2. roll very thin on floured boars. cut with a 2" cookie cutter.
3. spread with anchovy paste. moisten edges with milk, fold over once to make a turnover. chill until serving time.
4. bake at 375 F. for about 10 min. serve hot.
