Orange Lace Cookies

makes 8 cookies

2 T firmly packed light brown sugar
2 T butter
2 T light corn syrup
1 1/2 t thawed frozen concentrated orange juice [no sugar added]
1/4 c flour
1/2 t grated orange peel
dash ground mace

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cream the butter and sugar, add the corn syrup and OJ, then the rest of the ingredients. Thoroughly combine.
2. Onto nonstick cooking sheet drop 4 heaping tsp evenly spaced and about 6 inches apart.
3. Bake for 6 or 8 min in middle of center of oven, until light golden brown. Cool on sheet on rack for 2 min, then carefully remove cookies and cool on wire rack.
4. Repeat for other 4 cookies.
