Pizzelles

- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c butter, melted & cooled
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 T vanilla, or anise flavoring
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 2 t bkg powder

Beat eggs, beat in the sugar, then add cooled butter and flavoring. Beat until smooth. gradually add flour and bkg powder. Blend thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons onto hot krumkake or pizzelle iron and cook a minute or two on each side, until golden brown. If a rolled cookie is desired, roll immediately. Can be dusted with powdered sugar. Store in airtight container.
